阳新位处长江中下游城市群“中三角”腹地，东临长江黄金水道，西接京广，南通京九，北连武黄,具有“吴头楚尾”承东启西、联南纳北的交通区位优势，同时是武汉城市经济圈的重要出口与东南枢纽。

Yangxin is located in the “intermediate cam” of the urban agglomeration at the middle and downstream of the Yangtze River, facing the golden river of Yangtze River in the east, Beijing-Guangzhou Railway in the west, Beijing-Kowloon Railway in the south, and Wuhan-Huangshi Railway in the north. It enjoys the traffic advantages of “borders between the two kingdoms Wu and Chu”, and linking the east and west, and the south and north, and it is also an important exit and southeast hub of the urban economic circle in Wuhan.


位于排市镇大广、杭瑞高速交通枢纽

•公路 Highway

距黄石市50公里，武汉市120公里。316、106国道横贯东西，杭瑞（杭州-瑞丽）、大广（大庆-广州）高速交汇境内，其中：杭瑞高速有枫林、木港、排市三处互通，大广高速有龙港、三溪两处互通。正在建设的黄咸高速（黄石-咸宁），连接京珠、大广、沪蓉三条高速，是武汉市的外五环；即将开工建设的麻阳高速（麻城-阳新），贯穿杭瑞、沪蓉、武英、沪渝四条高速，是连接大别山旅游经济带和长江经济带、昌九经济走廊的重要连接通道，同时也是武汉市的大外环。县内富池和韦源口两座长江大桥、富阳公路等一系列交通枢纽工程也正在加紧建设。
沿高速公路至上海7小时，南京6小时，广州、福州9小时，合肥3.5小时，长沙3小时，武汉1.5小时，南昌2小时，九江1小时。

50 kilometers from Huangshi City, and 120 kilometers from Wuhan City. National expressways 316 and 106 stretch from east to west, Hangzhou-Ruili, Daqing-Guangzhou Expressways intersect in it, wherein Hangzhou-Ruili Expressway has three interchanges in Fenglin, Mugang and Paishi respectively, and Daqing-Guangzhou Expressway has two interchanges in Longgang and Sanxi respectively. The under-construction Huangshi-Xianning Expressway connects Beijing-Zhuhai, Daqing-Guangzhou and Shanghai-Chengdu expressways, being the fifth outer ring of Wuhan City; the Macheng-Yangxin Expressway which is about to be constructed goes across Hangzhou-Ruili, Shanghai-Chengdu, Wuhan-Yingshan and Shanghai-Chongqing expressways, not only an important channel connecting tourism economical belt of Dabie Mountain to economical belt in Jiujiang and economical corridor in Changjiu, but also the big outer ring of Wuhan City.
It takes 7 hours to go to Shanghai along the expressway, 6 hours to Nanjing, 9 hours to Guangzhou and Fuzhou, 3.5 hours to Hefei, 3 hours to Changsha, 1.5 hours to Wuhan, 2 hours to Nanchang, and 1 hour to Jiujiang.

•铁路 Railway

武九铁路（武汉-九江）贯穿全境，国家二级客（货）运站—阳新火车站在县城北端，紧靠经济开发区，至南昌、福州、杭州、上海、深圳等地客运列车均有停靠。正在建设的昌南城际高铁（武昌-南昌）,在全县设立三个站点，通车后，阳新至武汉和南昌仅需半小时。

Wuhan-Jiujiang Railway runs through the entire territory; national second-class passenger (freight) station--Yangxin Railway Station is located in the north of the county town, next to the economy development zone, and passenger and freight trains to Nanchang, Fuzhou, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen and other places stop at this station. The under-construction Wuhan-Nanchang Intercity High-Speed Rail has three stations in the county, and it will take only half an hour to go to Wuhan and Nanchang from Yangxin after it is opening to traffic.



•水运 Water transportation

依托长江航运可上溯宜昌、重庆，下至南京、上海。距国家一类开放口岸黄石港水运码头仅50公里，码头可常年通航5000吨级远洋货轮，实现江海联运、海关、海事、边检、检验检疫等口岸大通关服务机构的完善配备。
深圳盐田港集团投资设计年吞吐量5000万吨的棋盘洲码头处于我县韦源口镇，目前正在建设之中，距阳新县城1小时车程。

River transportation in the Yangtze River can go up to Yichang and Chongqing, and down to Nanjing and Shanghai. Only 50 kilometers from the water transport dock of the national first-class open port, Huangshi Port, which is open to 5000-ton ocean-going cargo ship throughout the year, with complete configuration of large open port custom clearance institutions, including river and ocean combined transportation, customs, maritime affairs office, frontier inspection office, inspection and quarantine office, etc.
Qipanzhou Dock with 50 million tons of annual cargo handling capacity invested and designed by Shenzhen Yantian Port Group is located in the Weiyuankou Town of our county, which is under construction currently, 1 hour driving distance away from county town of Yangxin.
